Qualifications and Experience
I completed my training at the University of Kent and my qualifications are :
Master of Clinical Science (Psychotherapy) (M.Clin.Sci.)
Post Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy
BA
EMDR practitioner
My background includes:
working with clients, in the NHS:
who have experienced childhood sexual abuse
with children and adolescents in a CAMHS service
in an inpatient Psychiatric facility providing group and individual Psychotherapy for adults
I also have experience in an educational setting providing Psychotherapy services for young people and have extensive experience working with looked after and former looked after young people and adults.
Although I am trained in Psychoanalysis, I work with a client centred approach in a Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (face to face) model.
